Chapter 8 - ANDREW AND I DID NOT FALL IN LOVE

Everyone expected that twist.

The betrayed wife.

The betrayed husband.

Perfect revenge romance.

No.

Andrew and I became friends.

Carefully.

We exchanged evidence through attorneys when appropriate.

We checked on each other.

He learned to cook because Brenda had handled most meals.

I learned that silence in my house no longer meant Mark was angry.

Once, Andrew joked:

“At least we should get dinner out of ruining each other’s marriages.”

I laughed.

Then said:

“That sounds like the beginning of a terrible movie.”

So we didn’t.

Not then.

Healing does not require replacing one spouse with another.
