Chapter 5 – What Justice Really Looks Like

One year later...

The Harrington mansion no longer belonged to Richard.

It had become the Hope Foundation for Mothers, providing legal assistance, emergency housing, and financial support for abused pregnant women.

Khloe stood at the ribbon-cutting ceremony with little Hope balanced on her hip.

Reporters asked whether she hated Richard.

She smiled gently.

"No."

"Hate would mean he's still controlling my life."

"I've already moved on."

Across the street, Richard quietly watched from inside a modest sedan.

His luxury empire had vanished.

Most of his fortune had been seized.

Vanessa was serving a lengthy prison sentence.

No one recognized him anymore.

For the first time in his life...

He understood what real consequences looked like.

Harrison walked beside his sister.

"You finally won."

Khloe looked down at Hope, who reached up and wrapped tiny fingers around her mother's hand.

"No."

She smiled through grateful tears.

"We survived."
