Chapter 10 - Where Love Belongs

Two years later.

A gentle winter snowfall dusted the manicured lawns of our private estate in upstate New York.

Inside the grand living room, a roaring fire crackled merrily in the stone fireplace, casting a warm, golden glow across the cozy room.

Four-year-old Clara and Ellie were sitting on a soft sheepskin rug in front of a giant Christmas tree, opening colorful present boxes and laughing happily with their grandmother.

I sat on the plush sofa, wrapped in a warm knitted blanket, resting my head comfortably against Elias's broad chest.

In my arms, I held our newborn son—a healthy, beautiful baby boy with dark hair and bright eyes, sleeping peacefully against my breast. We had named him Leo.

Elias leaned down, pressing a soft, warm kiss against my forehead before looking down at our sleeping son.

"He's perfect, Ava," Elias whispered gently, his large hand softly covering my shoulder.

"We have everything now, Elias," I smiled, looking across the warm room at our twin daughters playing happily beneath the glowing holiday lights.

Richard had discarded my daughters because he believed they were a curse. But in Elias's arms, they had become the greatest blessing our family had ever known.

Elias wrapped his arms tighter around me and our newborn son, resting his chin softly against my head as the snow fell peacefully outside the tall glass windows.

"We are home, Ava," Elias murmured softly, his voice filled with absolute peace, warmth, and enduring love. "Where we belong."
