Chapter 8 - The Cyber CounterstrikeTo hack an impenetrable corporate fortress, you don't break down the front door. You use the architect who built the walls.

For the next forty-eight hours, our war room operated on pure, high-stakes adrenaline. We didn't sleep. While Victoria Vance gloated to her shareholders in Silicon Valley, assuming I was cowering in a PR crisis room, Julian, Elias, and I were quietly orchestrating her execution.

"Victoria’s virtual KOC is hosting a massive, live-streamed 'financial truth' event tomorrow night," Elias reported, his fingers flying across his keyboard. "She expects over twenty million viewers, all funneled in from her Google-rejected ad networks. Grant is scheduled to make a 'surprise' guest appearance to corroborate the AI's lies."

"Where is the physical server powering the AI during the live stream?" I asked, my mind operating with surgical precision.

"It’s tethered to a localized quantum processor inside Slink’s primary data center downtown," Elias deduced. "It’s a closed-loop system. But to maintain the illusion of an interactive KOC, her team has to manually feed real-time moderation cues into the system to filter comments."

Julian’s eyes lit up with predatory triumph. "The moderation portal. It’s a secondary access point. If Elias can intercept the moderation feed, we can inject a localized Trojan virus directly into the AI's rendering engine."

"We aren't going to shut her down," I smiled—a cold, terrifying expression that made the room fall silent. "We are going to give her a new script. Elias, prepare the unredacted wire transfers showing Slink’s purchase of the shadow traffic. Prepare the offshore ledgers proving Victoria bribed the city inspector to halt our foundation pour."

"You want to broadcast Slink’s corporate crimes using their own billion-dollar virtual influencer?" Chloe asked, stunned by the sheer audacity of the play.

"Victoria wants to use algorithms to play god," I whispered, the fire in my veins turning to absolute ice. "I’m going to show her what happens when the machine wakes up. And as for Julian's foundation?"

"I already forwarded my structural analysis and the proof of the inspector's bribe to the FBI," Julian rumbled, a dark smile on his face. "The stop-work order will be lifted by morning."

Tomorrow night, the queen was taking the stage.
