Part 17: Gloria’s Letters Denied

From her state facility cell, Gloria attempted to send multiple written appeals to my corporate legal office.
She wrote desperate, rambling messages begging for a restructuring of her personal bankruptcy terms and corporate allowances.
"Chloe, please... I am an elderly woman... the family legacy deserves some consideration," her letters pleaded weakly.
Marcus brought the folder to my desk, but I didn't even bother to break the seals on the envelopes.
