As the years passed, Alejandro fulfilled his court-mandated therapy and probation requirements without further incident. Under strict legal supervision and professional child-psychology guidelines, he was eventually granted limited, bi-weekly supervised visitation with Nicolás at a neutral family center.
Elena never tried to erase Alejandro from Nicolás’s life, nor did she paint him as a mythical monster in her son’s mind. When Nicolás asked questions, she answered them with age-appropriate, objective facts.

Being a family never means keeping dangerous secrets.

She remembered the chilling words Alejandro had spat at her on that terrifying night in the grand hall: “Nadie va a creerte.”
She smiled softly to herself in the dark.
