Chapter 30 - The Digital Trap

Valentin stared at the small device, his brow furrowing. "What is that?"

"That is a live feed directly to the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority and the Interpol Financial Crimes Division," I announced, stepping closer to the table. "Every word you've said in this room for the last ten minutes has been broadcasted and recorded on a immutable public ledger."

Valentin’s face hardened. "You think Swiss authorities care about a thirty-year-old loan agreement?"

"They care when the money in Bank Account 409 was laundered from human trafficking and illegal arms deals in Eastern Europe during the 1990s," I countered, tapping a command into my tablet.

On the screen behind Valentin, the digital bank terminal flickered to life. The silver flash drive I had plugged in earlier hadn't just held the land deeds—it held a Trojan virus I had coded with the help of international forensic accountants.

"You virus-scanned the drive when I plugged it into my laptop," I explained, a cold smile touching my lips. "But the payload wasn't triggered by a computer. It was triggered by the biometric signal of your voice recording."

Valentin’s cold blue eyes widened in genuine panic for the first time. "You... you breached my private vault network?"

"I didn't breach it, Valentin," I corrected, leaning over the table until I was inches from his face. "I exposed it. Bank Account 409 is currently being frozen by the Swiss Federal Prosecutor. You don't own my father's empire anymore. You don't even own the chair you're sitting on."
